What happened to this once great app?

I am so confused — this used to be my go-to app for Black Friday, but now all i get is curated lists and blog posts. I just want to see the ad scans, is that too much to ask? I have spent the last 30 minutes trying everything I could to just find the local ads for me, but all I get is pre-picked items and this ungodly mess of stuff.
App is not as good as it used to be

I downloaded this app way back in 2016 and this app really was convenient to have but now the interface is horrible ,back then it would have all the stores ads already within the app. Nowadays you have to exit out and go to the actual website to get the Black Friday ads, will not recommend this in 2020
