Major Problem

Stratocam

I just recently started to play the game and I quickly got hooked into. However, within an hour of playing, I was locked out of the game. Every time I load it up, it says loading and then stays on the screen where random creatures walk by. It does this for a while before crashing and restarting. I’ve tried reinstalling and looking online. It appears to be a major problem for many people. It would be really neat if you guys fixed this problem.

So, I’ve had this game for around 2 weeks and have loved it! However, the game now gets stuck on the loading screen. I have tried multiple things but never get past the loading screen. This has occurred for like 3 days. Any advice? If the problem is solved I would up my rating because it’s a lot of fun and I’ve never bought anything with real $

Issue

Uniich

Pretty massive issue. Capture Rate (Success Rate that is), is far to low for F2P players to grind Epic Familiars successfully, which is the only way to get Legendary or above, excluding Legendary Familiars, which is even lower than Epic. Current Capture Values: Common - 40% Rare - 20% Epic - 15% Legendary - 5-10% They should be: Common - 75% Rare - 50% Epic - 25% Legendary - 10-15% As I said above, it’s far to difficult for F2P to grind Epic Familiars or above. Currently I’m at over 1000 Energy spent, and not a single Epic Familiar has been captured. Besides this issue, the game is decent, but it still gives immense power to those with a big wallet, over those without one. A lot like League of Angels 3.

Jumped the Shark

For context I own a character with full end-game sets and mythics for the three main classes: bait, tank, and dps. Bit Heroes was a fun little game but those days are gone. Now it's strictly p2w garbage run by a corrupt corporate team. There is no story in this game. Players just grind the same dungeons over and over, and the life of the game is prolonged by hideous drop rates. Now with the introduction of elemental gear, all previous gear has been rendered obsolete, including pets and mounts that they just started selling in the shop for 50 USD a pop. Kong is happy to sell you something one week and render it obsolete the following week. Winners of PVP and GVG modes -- but don't be fooled thinking that they are interactive because they're just essentially offline PVE content -- are determined by how much you play the modes. They are also restricted by a ruthless energy system, so you can only compete for top 100 if you pay, and the winner are dictated by who pays the most. Raids aren't really raids, they're just PVE dungeons with two more people on your team. You can use your friends and guild mates on your team, which becomes a requirement if you wish to progress in the game. So to put it simply: power leveling is a requirement of the game and is baked into its difficulty level. Don't be fooled thinking that you can overcome the challenge without using other players. This is strictly a mathematical issue: without the number and quality of stats required you can't proceed. So the game is impossible to play unless you have powerful friends, which means that the game is a popularity contest. Therein lies its final hook: most players keep an inactivity "timer" on their friends lists of 24 hours, so if you are offline for a day you could lose your entire raid team. The low max friend count means that players like myself are constantly cycling through friends list spots to give the most active players a chance to proceed in the game. Despite being asked to increase the friends list count for 3+ years, the developers have ignored the topic. Lastly ever since Kongregate acquired Bit Heroes, releases have been a complete disaster. As a developer myself I'm well aware of the challenges encountered by releasing code that you didn't write, but we generally follow a QA and testing process to ensure a smooth release. Kong does not do this: they release prematurely without testing, celebrating the broken features with large p2w bundles, and then compound the problem with more broken features to milk their most dedicate players for more money. In conclusion, having put a lot of time and money into this game, I do not recommend this game to even the most rich of you lot. The game just isn't supported by a competent or ethical team. And for f2p players, don't even consider this title any longer. The shark was jumped and you should hop along as well without looking back.
