Elegant charming design, fun fast play

This is like the perfect casual game. You can play it alone; you can play with a friend. The visuals, sound, music are fun bright and welcoming: it feels like the dev cared about making it beautiful. And the play mechanics are simple, satisfying, and challenging — imagine cute fast head-to-head Tetris or skull/gem/whatever, with a slicker faster more tactile interface and a cheerful sense of style.

I love playing versus the AI or the survival mode but when my boyfriend and I play we both get bored of sitting while the blocks unlock. Some changes to the locking part would be nice in order to keep the game going longer.

The telltale sign of a well designed game is "easy to learn, hard to master." I've only been playing single player since I got it and I feel like I already got my money's worth. I'm in love with columns mode, btw, and I'm super impressed with how many Easter eggs are hidden throughout the game. This game will remain on my i-devices for quite a long while, I think ?
