Amazing Platformer

Wow, I'm astonished by the quality of this wonderful platformer. Hoping that this is simply a test of a new engine or some other something of the same sort and that eventually a full version will come out. If so, you can count on me to be one of your first customers! Leave the controls as they are. The only thing I would add would be more levels and a way to get back to the menu from within the game/a level select screen. Otherwise keep the simplicity of the game and don't complicate things by changing the control scheme or adding new weapons.

I actually like the feel of the controls here better than the keyboard-based controls on the desktop. Here's the problem: buttons need to highlight when you press them, even if it's subtle. Also, you need to be able to slide from one button to the next. Right now, you have to lift your finger off the button to go to the next. I find myself walking left when I mean to go right because you can't slide your finger between these two buttons.

Considering how short these three levels are I can't help feeling this is more of a tech demo then a full game but for what it is, it's pretty fantastic. The graphical style is great and the controls are very tight. I hope the developer continues to work on this because I can see great potential. I would really love to see this turned into a full fledged Metroidvania adventure but without compromising the simplicity of the controls.

This is honestly on of the best platformers on the app store. The only things it needs are more levels/bosses/enemies/weapons etc. etc. and the ability to change the transparency of the buttons. If You add these this will defintately one of the best retro style apps out there.
