How do you access the iDrive system? I seem to be missing some of the software in iDrive???? Thanks

Great to see this app updated regularly. Developer is responsive to the community. Fantastic app: reliable with backups and simple to use. Suggestion: - information about what to expect when coding certain modules. Example, car with reboot and display errors ... You will lose radio presets ... - change groups for coding. Example, newbie coding such as lighting or a popular group based upon your telemetry.

Another update. Same nonsense- Do not buy if you have a NEW bmw. You cant code anything. They force you to buy a $100 dongle and there’s nothing that can be coded. Literally support for nothing. I have been emailing them for 10 months. Same response every time- next update. Never happens. They add support for supra for $. Update: I have emailed you several times. You guys are lazy and worthless.

The usage is not obvious and relies on the user's understanding of BMW tech-speak. But the ability to record your BMW is useful. Be prepared to spend an hour figuring it out. enjoy!!

Worked well with BMW i3

Recoding my i3 with this app gave my car the ability to go on much longer trips than the original coding. I can now drive the car hundreds of miles between cities using the Rex, and then commute around the area using the batteries only. This recoding alone is worth hundreds of dollars and more to me. I can now run up and down mountain passes at 70 miles an hour. That would have been impossible with the original coding. It would have been a very disappointing car for me if BimmerCode had not unlocked these features. I used the kiwi 3 adaptor with the app and had no trouble.

App is worth it just for shutting off auto start/stop. But you can do so much more! Buy the OBDLink MX+ for trouble free connections. Developers please update for coding euro single stage airbag to US cars with dual stage airbags for the M-sport steering wheel retrofits!

Yes E-series cars are old , but still can be coded. This app fails to read all of my control units, sometimes the instrument cluster opt appears, then sometimes the junction box unit appears, it just fails miserably to read all the control units at once! Let alone code. While reading the coding data it will error. My car has a JB4 and a MHD BEF, it dont know if that has to do anything. I connect via Vgate wifi put the phone on Airplane mode and still nothing. My car has noooo DME issues or CEL on or anything. I want my money back !

Must have to get rid of the Auto Stop/Start annoyance. Also works great for video in motion and a few other customizations. Highly recommend.
