In fairness I haven't been able to play this game enough to determine whether it's clever or not but I can tell it has some serious problems. As you can tell by reading the game description this was created by someone with only a passing familiarity with English and that may explain some of the problems but not all of them. First, you can read the rules for placing bricks above at the screenshots but you better memorize them because you can't review them during a game. That's why I haven't been able to play enough to give a full idea of this game -- I've been unwilling to write the rules down on a separate piece of paper and haven't devoted the time to memorizing the rules. Call me lazy, but... What's apparent even before playing much is that there are only ten boards, i.e., ten levels so clearly the game will be limited even for devotees. Then there are those two enigmatic coins under the game board, one lets you review others' high scores (who cares during a game?) the other inexplicably changes the board's color, once. You can't change it back. Huh? Because of these problems I can't tell you whether the ambiguously worded rules (some bricks "may" be edged with others) are correct. Finally, you'll notice that the little bricks have the 'Lego' logo on them. You can bet that this game will not be available long without an update because the Lego legal folks will certainly come down hard and fast on Apple and the developer, like, well... like a ton of bricks. And because of all these problems I just have to give the game a bad review because it feels like I wasted my money. *UPDATE* I've played it now and with several taps you can see the rules but don't accidentally tap the righthand coin or it will wipe out your board and there's no way to move or undo a placed tile. I still have to go with only one star.
