I like this apps various reading plans. Lately however, the app shuts down when trying to load all the plans. Definitely needs some bug fixes & improvements.

Useful, but...

I primarily use the app for the reading plan to keep track of my progress. I wish there was an ad-free version that was available for $2.99-$3.99 similar to other apps. The ads on here for clothing that looks like slabs of red meat, those for Harry Potter books, and online accounting degrees is odd and out of place considering what this app is for.

Something is wrong! Update?!!

12/2/18- I have upgraded my review to three stars from one star as the issues I mentioned previously had been addressed. When I started using this app several years ago there was a feature where you press the word and the definition would be listed. I will rate this app five stars if that the developer would restore this feature, as it would be very helpful in my reading and study. 8/30/16 - the app has not worked for a couple days, so I was glad to see an update today. However, the update CANNOT BE DOWNLOADED! Did someone forget to push a button or something? I love this app for the reading plans so please fix it as soon as possible. Thank you, 3/14/16 - This app was working well until a few days ago. All passages in the reading plan are marked completed even though they have not been read. Also, after a passage is read & marked completed the date advances but the marker stays on the same passage that was read the day the app started messing up. Please fix! Thanks, 12/6/15 - Thanks for fixing the dates in the reading plan. Also, I figured out if you adjust the size of the text in My Bible this change will carry over to the reading plan. Now I can read my reading plan without straining. Thanks for listening?? 10/16/15- I liked the reading plan by date. This format does not work. Please bring back the prior reading plans. Need to be able to adjust the size of the text. Current text way to small. Thanks, 8/5/15 - the app works fine except the reading plan does not open at the next scheduled reading date. You must scroll through past readings. Please fix. Thanks, 4/12/15 - this doesn't work at all now. Please fix once and for all. I'm falling behind in my reading plan!!!! 3/28/15 My reading plan opens at the date I began the plan instead of the next scheduled date. In other words, I have to scroll to the next scheduled date. Please fix this. This app was perfect before the updates. Thanks, This is a wonderful app. I have selected a reading plan to read thru the bible. However, after the last update I cannot select "finished reading" after I have completed the segment of the day. This is a very important feature as I may not be up to date in my reading plan all the time. Thanks,

Does not seem to be compatible with the layout of the new iPhones. The button at the left hand top of the screen is not able to be clicked in order to take me to the home page. Now the page is stuck and I can’t do anything except for stay on that page. I’m frustrated.

Could be a good app but.........

Wait. What? OK, so today I was reading Psalm 5:3 and pondering the idea that king David offered sacrifices each morning and what that means for me. So I go online and find a couple of articles. One titled, “Sacrifice, in the New Testament, 1”. The browser indicates I can open this app to view it. When I tap the link, the app opens to the homepage, but not to the article. Then, the Search function is limited to searching for Scripture passages but not articles. So how can I access all the other content this app supposedly has? There seems to be lots of articles and commentaries in the app, but if they’re not searchable, they’re useless. Honestly, I’m not going to sit and read random commentaries. My study time is more focused. I use the You Version Bible app by LifeChurchTV which includes numerous translations free of charge. So I don’t need another Bible on my phone. I need study tools. This app is labeled, “Bible Study Tools”. Where are they? Why are they hard to find? Why is it not coded properly to interface with a web browser to link directly to the article or tool I’m seeking? In short, I’m confused about what this app does and how I can make it work. What’s the point of this? I’m new to the app and pretty ignorant of how to use all of it. It doesn’t seem self-explanatory, intuitive, simple to me. Perhaps an update with a tutorial or Help files menu is needed.
