These videos are not a “children’s bible” or a “children’s translation.” This is good ol’ fashioned storytelling much like you’d do around a campfire or while tucking a child into bed.
Our hope is to share with children the Alive and Active Word (Hebrews 4:12) that aims to get at the motives of why people (adults AND children!) do what they do.
Like Noah's task, this is a work in progress. New and updated videos will be added every week... over 250 when completed.
His Word Applied—on the foundation of real life together with our children.
THAT is our hope and prayer in this offering to the little ones in all of our lives.
All videos are free forever.
My children (ages 2, 5, 9) beg to watch the Bible Stories and remind me of what they heard and saw from them all throughout the day. Thank you for making these available to us for free!
Well done and God centered. Our children are watching this as an alternative to iPhone games and as they are following asleep. Thank you!!
My 5 and 3-year-olds use this app - Every. Single. Day. They love it! And I love what they’re learning and how it’s helping them to draw near to God for real! Our lives are changing from the stories we’re hearing! Thank you for offering this gift for FREE!
I’ve been thrilled to hear my grandchildren connecting their practical days to the scripture and God’s ways of treating each other.
Really love how the children are addressed directly so that they can be engaged. Even we parents stop and consider our own actions, attitudes, thoughts, and motives... so we can learn and change too! Such practical help. :)
This is the first app of scripture content I’ve ever used that even young children can understand easily, while still being incredibly refreshing in its language for adults. There’s nothing cliche or routine about the tellings of these biblical lives.
Great resource! My 2.5 yr old is always surprising me with how much these stories stay on her mind. She’ll excitedly tell me about them all through the day or want me to “pretend” them with her. Her first choice when handed the iPad.
