Awesome and Purposeful

***?

Everything you would need in an app to help memorize scripture. Developer is very sensitive to making it practical. From making a list, sorting topics and ways to memorize, not to mention an abundance of setting options. What a way to grow in intimacy with the Lord! May the developer be blessed beyond measure!

Little difficult at first

firetruckzoomzoom

In the beginning it was hard to figure out and I don’t think it was worth $3, but it is helpful still.

Great tool for memorizing

Nip yam

I really find that the practice tools are a great way to help me with putting the Word of God to memory.

Effective

CvilleMike2

This is an easy to use and powerfully effective approach to memorize scripture. The only suggested area of improvement is. To make adding verses more intuitive.

Won’t sync

Ispyno1

The app would be 5 stars if it would only sync on my phone like it’s supposed to. I’ve emailed three times but haven’t received any response or help. So the app may be great but the communication for help is non existent so far.

Robust, but not as great as on Android

Centeria

I had this app on Android and when I switched was disappointed to have to give it up. I don’t normally buy apps, but when I saw it I bought it without a second thought. I loved it on Android but some of the features don’t feel the same or as in tune with the Apple full screen experience. Some of the navigations don’t feel as smooth or consistent and the voice is a bit robotic (not sure how to change it). Overall, I will continue to use it and see if there is a way to change the voice.

Robotic audio voice

LTL55

Sorry, can’t listen to a robot voice speak the Word of God. Waste of money.

Great App For Memorizing Scripture

Phillip Edward

I really like the app as it has helped me immensely in cultivating the habit of memorizing scripture. I really like the practice tools available because it ensures that I am exact in memorizing the scripture which gives me more confidence as i quote it aloud. It also helps me to incorporate it more in my daily thinking as they often pop into my mind when I am going about my day. I also work on memorizing scripture before going to bed and I have noticed that they are on my mind when I first wake up in the morning. What a great way to start my day with my mind fixed on the word of God. One feature enhancement I would like to see is a pop up reminder to be displayed on my phone. In this way it lets me know when those memorization tasks are due.

Getting stuck

Recently the app is getting stuck even if I go back or try to copy to or whatever else I do. Please look into this matter

Best Passage Memorization App

Josiah Gaines

I’ve tried every free memorization app, as well as a few paid. This one beats them all in quality. There are a few out there which stand a little higher in design or feature, yet they are all subscription apps, and in my opinion not worth the amount of money spent. I first used this app on Android, where it was free, but when moving over to an Apple phone, I found it to still be the best on the market. I’m quite satisfied with my purchase. Using this app I was able to memorize James 1-4 within a two week time span with around 45 minutes a day. I’ve also used this app to memorize hymns, poems, and Scripture passages in other languages. It works seamlessly. However, I think this app could improve in a few areas. Firstly, the graphic design is rather blah, the font on Apple is difficult to read, and there isn’t any flexibility in settings to meet different people’s tastes. Additionally, the voice reader is automated and quite inaccurate. It would be convenient to be able to play the memorization passage in the app rather than having to switch to another. One feature I would find incredibly useful, that I have not seen any memorization app implement to this day would be the ability to import song or hymn lyrics, in order to avoid hand typing the entire thing into the app. Overall I find this app quite worth it, and will be using it for years to come!
