Great resources, good customization

I've used Olive Tree's app for years; in fact I think I started with an app for a PalmPilot. It's customizable with a great collection of translations and resources available for the Bible scholar, and it's accurate and pretty comprehensive in making Bible study tools available. A few releases ago, they started spamming the app every time they get a new resource or have a sale. Call me Adrian Monk (look it up), but I find the red unread message badges that appear on the app icon highly annoying. They can be turned off, however. This wasn't intuitively obvious to me, but may be to others. They are very good about responding to issues. The app includes a very good search function that allows you to confine your searches to specific sets of books of the Bible. They've also built in a lot of customizable gestures, allowing you to skip forward and backward in your reading history, go to a different scripture, advance to the next or previous chapter - just about anything you might want to do with a multi-finger tap or swipe. If you just want to read your favorite version of the good Book, there may be better options, but if you want to examine it in detail and have multiple translations, dictionaries, and commentaries available, go with this.

Love this app and how it makes Bible study and reading accessible. Have used it for years and have never once been disappointed. Worth every penny spent building my library.

I've used a variety of electronic Bibles and other study tools, but Olive Tree gives easy and useful access to everything you need - even without wifi.

I love this bible app. It's so great to have the Bible so accessible all the time without having to carry a big bible. I also love the reading plan I am using and having that accessible even when I have no wifi service. There are a wealth of books, commentaries, and other helps available, and to have it all in one place is awesome.
Excellent Bible Study app

This is an excellent bible study app. I have several bible translations and bible study notes which can be used with any translation. The highlighted links take you instantly to the verse or note. You can read two translations side by side. Links to maps and profiles, charts are instantaneous. There are numerous bible reading programs which are easy to use. They pick up where you were the last time and track what you have read from day to day. I use Prof Grant Horner's daily reading program with Olive Tree's Bible Study + app. Our Lord's Word has come alive for me. Great Bible Study app from Olive Tree.

This Bible app does everything you could want. I use it sometimes to just read the Bible. You can select from all the significant translations and paraphrase Bibles to get a real sense of the meaning. Plus there is an ocean of resources to study the Bible carefully including history, archeology, original languages, and related books about faith, life, and even love. And I can use all the resources on every device and computer I have at no extra cost. It even synchronizes across all my devices. Plus it's always being improved and kept up with the latest OS and devices. Bible app has become the only way I read and study the Bible. It is fantastic.
