What an AWESOME app to have! It is an excellent quick and easy to have all the TCM herbs and formulas in your pocket. It is very well designed and nice new features on the tongue and pulse. I'm waiting for the quiz mode to be added to the next new updates. LET'S make it happen!
Handy App

This is a great boon to me as I am going overseas to volunteer in a health clinic and am glad to have reference material that fits in my pocket. It is so difficult to lug around a huge materia medica. However, it would be even more handy if there were a way to add herbs and formulas to the application. Everyone has some formulas and herbs that are not commonly used but handy to have for quick reference. Especially when away from one's library. It would make this app 5 stars for me.

Great app. Easy to use and it is a great reference when you are working in the clinic. I am an intern at an acupuncture school so I find this to be helpful. However, I just wish that there was more to write in the personal notes part and they let you add custom formulas or edit existing ones. Great app. overall.

Actually I am just a consumer who wanted to know more about TCM in an easy to use format. I am so pleased to have this a reference when I go for my acu-treatment. I am not a student or practioner but I like to be well educated about my health and what's going into my body. I wish there was a place to document my treatments and how I felt while on specific herbs/formulas . Then it could provide me a more personalized health history of my own Tcm experiences. Simply more places to take notes really would make it even better! Love it and am learning just for personal enrichment everyday! Thx so much!!

I was about ready to find someone to write an herbal app for the iPhone and then I found this! It's great to have so much information at your fingertips. An unexpected use was when I went into my local herb shop and showed the woman the Chinese characters for a formula I needed (since my pronunciation of Chinese formulas isn't very good.) Thank you so much!

Best formula app out there by far!!! Well worth the money for students & acupuncturist, or for the layman who just wants to learn herbs!!! Better than carrying around a huge book and the best part is you can add your own notes and comments. My favorite app on my itouch!!! Will use it for years to come. Only one thing I would suggest to this already perfect app is have the chief herb highlighted or in red. That would help to study for state boards or Nationals. Awesome job on the colors and easy to use search data and the updates makes it even better than great!!

I love this application,but since the update i have not been able to open it on my itouch! Now it is useless! PLEASE HELP! I absolutely loved this program when it actually worked! now i feel like I wasted $30! Please Help!

Just downloaded the ap and was a bit dissapointed as two formulas, Bi Yan Pian and Bu Zhong Yi Qi Wan, were not listed. I suspect updates will include additional entries?
