Great and awesome game I’ve ever played

I love everything except there is no sound

TKOverby

I absolutely love this game! My only complaint is that the sound effects stop working randomly. I can play a game maybe 3 games in a row and then when I start the next game the sound effects and announcer voice just stop working, even when they are on m as x volume in the settings. The whole purpose of the relaxation effect of the game is the sound and it is not consistent!

Ads??? Boooooo

jloose

Been playing this for 10 years and paid for it on multiple platforms. Now you spoil it with ads? So disappointed.

Unplayable

The_Epic_Gamer13579

I love Bejeweled, but recently the ads block my entire screen in a way I can’t exit out of. It’s a fun game, but I physically can’t play it anymore because the ads block the game.

I don’t like this

This game has to many adds

Getting worse with age

Of all the negative reviews I’ve read, most of them complain about the overload of ads. Perhaps that’s to make up for the fact that the game is free and also diminishing in popularity with much more engaging choices available in 2020. But since I use ad blockers, ads aren’t the problem for me. In fact, the real problem is the gameplay; sometimes the touchscreen is not in sync with the game in that you touch and swipe a cube and it doesn’t go in the direction you indicate, this throwing off your strategy (and often leading to a loss). But even that is not as annoying as two recent developments that impede my enjoyment; an animated black cat on a pillow perched in front of the classic icon that “invites” you to play a multi-player version of the game, but will not allow you to play the game solo (regardless of whether or not you have a paused game in action; that’s likely been erased and you’d have to start all over again if you actually could get into the game. The other is a problematic and discouraging inconsistency in offering a “second chance” 30-second extension of the game after losing the first time you play a game (particularly Diamond Mine). Coupled with the swipe bug mentioned before, this severely limits your gameplay with each turn, which is discouraging. Ultimately, if your looking for a game to kill time and not be stressed about ads or the too-quick pace of play that results in consistently short runs and low scoring, only the Zen option will offer satisfaction. But after that, leave this game alone and choose something newer. The developers will likely apologize and offer a lame promise they will not keep (if they bother to respond at all). Save your frustration for a more deserving game (plus get an adblocker and never make in-game purchases for ANY reason).

Too many ads

ad-overload

This is crazy how many there are. It has annoyed me enough that I barely even play anymore.

The BEST app I’ve played in long time! A Little buggy.

First let me state that the advertisements are NOT a big deal. Especially since I usually have long lasting games. That being said, I will say you do get SKIPPABLE ads every time you start, or loose a game. If you do loose; you have the option to watch a 15-30 second, UNSKIPPABLE ad to continue/resume your game; you get this option once per game, which as I said before, games usually last awhile. The ads are not intrusive, i only got them for reasons stated above. I’m all for the ads, as they support the developers. This game has a collection of fun game modes. Included in these modes, is a zen mode, which as far as I know, is infinite. (As of this review, I’m on level 52 and haven’t ran out of moves yet!) There is also a Poker mode. In this mode you match gems to make a poker suite. After a couple suites you are fighting death suites. To get rid of these game ending suites, you have to get enough points by making higher valued suites. You get 3 free plays, after that, you get a free play every 24 hours. You can make a purchase of $2.99 to permanently play limitlessly. This is by far, an amazing game mode and I’m highly considering making that purchase. Do note; there are a couple bugs, but they aren’t game breaking. They usually consist of freezing/soft locking when failing/ending a game. My scores were saved whenever this happened so it’s no big deal. If you haven’t tried this game out, download and try it. It’s so worth a try! It’s fun and a really great time killer!
