Great way to teach diversity

Wonderful book that explains global & diversity in a way a younger child (elementary age) can understand the terms. Love the interactive portions of the book (my daughter kept doing them over & over again) & the song is wonderful! Coloring pages, quiz & the lesson plans give it some extra reinforcement on how to teach global lessons. Only reason I did not give 5 star rating is because of when you touch the various interactive items sometimes the voice doesn't work or they don't come up at all unless touched in the correct order (ie the solar system with the various planets) and if you touch the 'music' sign during the song it stops & restarts the song. Get these items fixed & I'll definitely give it a 5.

We live in increasingly global world with exposure to multiple cultures, languages and religions in our day to day life. We need an app like this to introduce kids the idea of being more appreciative, tolerant and accepting of all people in all instances! It is a helpful conversation starter for teachers and parents and makes a wonderful gift for children between the ages of 4 and 8. It has interactions, animations, music and activities that kids would find fun and engaging.

My kids loved this app. They picked up several Spanish words, sandia , tomate and was fun to hear them practice pronouncing them like in the app. They enjoyed listening to the upbeat music and singing along. The ability to switch between Spanish and English throughout the app is awesome.

Beautifully done. This is a wonderful way to introduce the fact to young ones that everyone on this planet is part of a big family and that we all need to know about all the members of this family. Kindergarten and First Grade teachers, this is a great tool for you to use. Well done to the developers of this app! I love this app! The story is a wonderful introduction to broader thinking, and the animation and interactivity are just plain fun. The language options are great, too. My grandchildren will love it and they will learn along the way.

This is one of those apps that is so engaging for kids (in different ways at different ages) while sending a terrific message. The book is great, and it's taken a step further with the read-to-me, touch interactivity, dual-language feature, plus the extra games. The journaling section is perfect for my daughter! I've picked up a few things along the way as well ;)

This is a very involving, and fully featured app. It is much more than the book: there are a bunch of fun activities, a quiz, and even lesson plans for teachers. Plus there is a pretty catchy tune. Nicely done!
