Good app when I don’t know where to go on the weekend

I’m glad I can see what my friend are doing on the weekend this app without stalking their insta stories or snap maps. And actually get invited without no problems.Great job!

Wish it didn't require super Twitter permissions. Does it really need write and DM access?

Needs better prompting for group membership

Downloaded app at my WWDC hotel; it was empty. No events. Told me I did not have enough friends. Ugh. Felt bad about not being twitter-popular. Not until THURSDAY did I open the app again. I opened nearer to the location, and was automatically prompted to add to the WWDC group. Way too late at this point. You really need to do a better job of letting people know how to join groups like WWDC. The app made it seem like it was all based on twitter friends.

How did we live without this!

I am already in love with Beacon! Simple and powerful tool to stay in the loop and live in the moment. Bravo!

This app is not ready yet. There is no way to just see your friends...I am seeing events from people I don't know and from people in California when I'm in WI. There is no way to geolocate...same gripe as previous. This app should not have been released with such limited functionality...I don't want to parse through events of people I don't know. Let me see just what I want to...not what I don't want to.

Soooooooo useful! Such an easy way to gather friends! 2 taps and you're off! My only issue, I do not have another star to give!

I'm seeing events listed not just in other cities, but other countries. What's the point?

All I see are public events in CA. No way to even filter down to my area or even my twitter friends. Seems like something easier done on FB.

Good But - Limited Functionality - Huge Potential for Abuse

Used this during WWDC this week and was an interesting idea for using in a limited are or with a limited user set. Hard to surface things interesting to you. Easy to spoof location and have occasionally seen people trying to sell or request drugs though they get taken down quickly. Scaling will be a challenge going forward. Lastly, this app makes it far too easy to know where someone is and is going to be. There are some significant security and privacy concerns that will come up that I have no suggestions for. Good luck. Hope the next large event gets you over the hump.

There are only events in CA listed, and I'm in the D.C. Metro area. No way to change the location in app. I'm disappointed. This looked like fun.
