Never works

Mokychikn

I paid how much for BOD and your app never works!! Takes forever to download, to stream or it is buffering during the workout and no its not my wifi because all the other apps work. I am limited on time and i could have had a workout done by the time this thing is ready. FIX IT!!! Before i request my money back and report it to my bank that i did not get a service i paid for!

Love concept, less than stellar functionality

JRAgee

I think BOD is a great concept, putting any number of extremely fun and worthwhile workouts at your fingertips, wherever you may be. The ability to download a w/o is a great idea. However, I continuously experience slow functionality regardless of the feature I try-buffering or resetting on wi-fi, loosing sound/skipping during playback, poor download quality. Many times going in to the app in the morning nothing is on the screen and I have to log in and out several times for workouts to show up. The inability to pause for more than a minute, or to navigate between section blocks of a workout make it challenging for the reality of working out at home. Would love to see the functionality and accessibility to improve because the benefits of what Beachbody offers are enormous, and I love the workouts.

Great content, glitchy app

Slapjiggletits

I couldn’t be happier with content. This app has motivated me tremendously I will absolutely continue to use it. Totally worth the cost. However, almost every time I open the app I have to kill it and reopen since none of the programs load, just blank screen. There are also issues if using with Apple Watch. When I had iPhone 6 + watch series 3, it worked great. I recently updated to iPhone 8 and same watch, and now none of my workouts track, and and heart rate and calories don’t track either. I still do recommend it to anyone wanting to get in shape, but I’d like to see beach body make an investment in fixing these glitches.

80 days of awesome

I love these workouts challenging but worth it! Eating plan is incredible. I can't wait to see what beach body does next! My coach Lindsey Kaufman is truly an inspiration!

Download for offline use

Jinx7559

I’ve been using the app on demand for the past 3 days my wife and I use the offline videos to work out outdoors since we have limited space in our apartment. I downloaded the videos to my brand new iPhone 8 Plus updated to the latest software. The app is recently downloaded and it’s updated to the latest version 2.7.0 (80) I have the download for the videos at the best quality. I always download the videos at home on my high speed internet. That being said I think that there is some issue with the application when we play the downloaded videos the picture quality is terrible and hard to see what’s going on in the workouts. When I stream the same video at home the picture quality is excellent 1080p. I don’t know if anyone else is dealing with the same issue. We love the convenience of the offline capability just wish the video would come through at a better quality. We’ve been managing up to this point but there are times where we have to rewind a piece to view the demonstration of the workout. Which slows down our heart rate and effectiveness of the workout.

Needs some updates

iCrosswhite

The product is good but needs a few simple updates. If you plug your phone in to HDMI, it mirrors the screen instead of playing the video in full res on the output display. Search function would also be nice. Custom playlists would also be helpful so you could do abs from one workout and plyo from another.

Always buffering

Mego333

I love the access to all the work outs but the app is always buffering. Soooo slow.

Great fitness resources; better app stability

USAF Chief Val

I've been using the app for about six months and love the various trainers, the calanders, eating guides and fitness challenges to mix things up. My one issue deals with the app stability. Sometimes it won't load the trainer resources on my iPad till I restart the app a few times. And sometimes takes a while to load from using my Amazon fire stick. Both frustrating when I have limited time. Overall I really like the ability to download and take workouts with me versus carrying around my DVD player. It's definitely been worth the cost!

Workout tracking issues

jjlepien

The workout tracking on the app no longer works. So much for new and improved watch app 2.0

Downloads....

Riding2Win

So I love the app, but always seem to have issues with downloads. With new versions of the app that have come out, I thought I would try downloading again. I had one download out of eight not complete. I’ve tried to redownload it unumerous times to get the message that “video is already downloaded” but it does not show up in my downloads. I’ve logged out and back in, I’ve closed out the app from my iPad, I’ve turned my iPad off and back on, to no avail. The app is convinced the video has been downloaded, but I don’t have access to it...I should,d have 8, but only 7 are there. Frustrated once again.
