BBC radiates elitist tones but not as extreme as most of what passes for news these past several decades. My educational background is also elitist but as I’ve grown old it embarrasses me. Dial back on measuring the world by judgmental pie in sky ideals and hire some staff who’ve lived in the real world - not just the white wine with biscuits parts. Things that seem simple in San Francisco, Paris and London are not so simple in the context of all 7 billion of us.

I really appreciate and l love ALL things BBC. I’m French born and live in the Western US in Portland, Oregon. I listen to the BBC overnight programs, through OPB FM, my local NPR radio station. Keep informing us with all your in-depth programming. Christine La Chance
Biased story telling

Used to be that you could reasonably trust the BBC to provide fairly clean fact telling. Now they seem to pick and present stories and their content, based largely on political views. Shame on you all. Get back to reporting facts without the tainted views.
No watching live BBC tv? ???

Why can’t I log in with my cable subscriber and watch live tv news? Cnn does it. Foxnews does it. MSNBC does it. All their apps allow it. Not bbc. Idiots cmon and fix this.
