Miss the old version style of play

I have played this new version for a while but like others have said, this version is different from the previous version but not always for the better. The good: updated graphics smoother gameplay. The bad: game modes are strange. Rewards for hits favors the AI. Undecided: Point scoring, various weapon types. Developers, It would be nice to have an option to play the old game as well.
A modern classic?

I really like what they did here. This was one of my favorite games as a kid. But it’s not something I would enjoy playing 30+ years later. I wouldn’t see it holding my interest past the first game. But the modern twist that has been added to this old classic game has me enjoying a familiar game repeatedly .
No Pass and Play...??

Unless I am missing something. There is no pass and play which is why I purchased this app.

On medium difficulty the computers accuracy is almost always above 35%, Ive been beaten by a 57% before. For a game that depends on guessing I find this completely unacceptable. As a developer this just shows me the laziness on the Developers part. Not to mention the crazy amounts they want for Map Packs. THIS IS ONLY BATTLESHIP, not a 1st person shooter. GREEDY GREEDY GREEDY

They ruined a good game.

This used to be a good game, but they ruined it by making the classic version so that a player keeps firing after every hit instead of one shot per turn. They don’t even make this optional. That alone makes this version of Battleship a load of crap.

Do not buy this app. My husband and I were excited. Never works. Kicks other player out of game. Can you sue to get your $2.99 back???
