We were skeptical since the Cars app/toys did not work. The toy ships work great and the app runs flawlessly on our iPad 3. My sons, 5 and 7, love playing this game.

I bought the AppMates for this game for my son for Christmas and he has never been able to play the game. App crashes before the game opens every time. Don't waste your time or money on this one.
How to make the ships work

I was skeptical but I got it to work. I'm running these on my iPad 3. But they will not work with the zoom turned on. So go to settings>general>accessibility>zoom>off and the ships should work now. My kids love this game. Hope this helps.

I have three of Hasbro's zapped apps Life, Monopoly and battleship as well. You would think that with a company like Hasbro the apps would work .. Common Hasbro your a game company. This app worked for one game after that it was all downhill. Never worked again. I called Hasbro they told me a month and a half ago they were working on it, it would be soon OK Hasbro it about that time of the year the time when we want game for our families under the tree and with all our game on our tablets and on our computer it's not looking good for you . Hire some real app builder or go back to the old board games.

So it's no problem to anyone else, However in order to play you need to get the board game as well. But not just any old game, It needs to be specially made for this. Heres where this gets stupid. You can quite easy create a full virtual version, cheaply and without much effort. If you are looking to play a mobile version of a classic board game with the kids, don't download. I know most will disregard this but when you download you will find out.
