I like this but the problems outweigh the good parts. It freezes often, the ships are difficult to place, and the rules aren't explained. Yes, it's battleship but slightly different. I'd give it 2 stars but the art is nice so I hope the bugs get worked out.

The AI needs a nerf because it got my battleship first 4 hits and got all my ships well before I got half the AI's ships!

Hate having to go to settings every time to turn off music/sounds.. Also annoying when I can't put ships next to each other... And I don't like the idea of having one-space ships. Plus you aren't suppose to get extra shots in the original version of the game. I'd like it way more if it had the same layout/rules as how it's suppose to be
Multi-player doesn't work

Tapping the invitation link sent to invite a friend to play doesn't do anything; it says "retrieving" then nothing happens. Also, this was after figuring out that the first "invite friends" option just sends them a link to the app. You have to choose "play via Game Center" (instead of "invite friends") and THEN select a separate "invite friends" options within that menu, which sends a link—which doesn't work, as previously mentioned. Fix the app (and make it less confusing) and we might actually try it.
