Worth a buck

Kakupacal

Nice art but I could do without the dexterity/QuickTime actions, which are weirdly out of place in a turn-based game. Also, the rock, paper, scissors combat is color-based but confused by clothing colors on enemies and ultimately doesn't really add any depth to the game.

Greed is bad

jcrice

I gave the game took stars because I like the graphics. This is another example of greed in iPad games. This game spams you with purchase requests even when you aren't even playing the game! The developers would have gotten some money outta of me if I was logged into my iTunes account. The purchase request comes up and it is easy to push the button if you aren't careful. I can see laws coming in the near future to prevent all the iPad apps people from taking your money so easily.

Greed

Not enjoyable unless you pay inside game. 5 stars no need to pay extra in game

Where's the loot?

wrugoin

I give this two stars. Not impressed by the gameplay which requires you to either excessively grind for gold or spend real cash to progress at a fun pace. HD version released right after iPad 3 yet no retina graphics. Battles are slow, blocking is flawed, and energy system limits the enjoyment of each set of attacks. Finally, where is the loot? Where is the lucky epic item drop that compels me to keep playing? All you get is sparse amounts of gold that's hardly worth effort of each battle in order to encourage more IAP

Mostly Awesome

Stickboy42

This is an excellent game, and during combat the battles look pretty good. The text and the menu systems, however, are in dire need of retina support. This is a fun game, and I have no idea what people are talking about when they say that the game spams you with in app purchase notifications. I see them off to the side of certain menus, but I've never seen a pop-up mentioning anything about in app purchases. The graphics are bright and sharp, which makes me want iPad retina support all the more. Add that, and I'll gladly recommend this game to anyone who asks me what to buy for their new iPad.

Fun game!

DiMeDoUtSoN

Ive been playing for a little while and i am really enjoying this game. Very fun. Graphics are nicely drawn but look pixelated on iPad 3. Update is supposed to be coming along for that. But for 99c, this is a steal. UPDATE: Now playing for a few hours and this is a very nice game. With the IAP's i thought i was going to be forced to buy gold but its not the case. This game gives you the option to do so. There is verynlittle grinding if you need gold and replaying missions, building your characters up is fun. Im pretty sure im almost done with the game and i look forward to updates. Please add more content and RETINA!!!!

Great game

Cid0282

I buy more apps than I should and mostly wast my money on an app I use once. But this game is the exception. Fun addictive little strategy RPGs. Worth 99 cents.

Ok

A fun game, but I wish it were optimized for the retina display
