Wealth of strategy packed into a tiny board

Dirk K-S

The map doesn't look like much - just 50 or so spaces. But the meticulously developed rules pack a wealth of strategy into that tiny space. The well-researched historical notes are almost with the price alone, too.

Not Worth The Price

There are better strategy games out there that are more reasonably priced.

I love a game that you're destined to lose

And still pull off a victory! I'm not a huge wargamer, but I've played my share of the basic ones. I've played BotB enough now to know this is a smooth game with tons of resources and is different every time. I've mostly played as the Germans as the odds are against them and "victory" all the more sweeter. Never played online, so can't rate on that. One bug: I've reached and crossed the Meuse through Liege on two occasions (it's damned hard to do so) and I've been awarded VPs for Dinant when I wasn't even close. While I love a good sauerkraut sandwich in celebration (three panzers to the north to kick that smug beret wearing teetotaler's keister), I'd rather not get the "free" points doing so. Excellent over all!

Eh

Well designed, historical, amusing, looks good, but, it's too expensive for only one battle... don't buy this, you don't get ten dollars worth

Fantastic strategy game

Creesto!

Absolutely love this game and have spent hours upon hours on it. I purchased it for the multiplayer as I have a lot of competitive war gaming friends. We are having a blast going head to head in this game. As a history buff I also love the historical accuracy, all the way down to the finest details in-game.

A war game for non- war gamers

4Ringa

I never was into war games. Seemed to tedious. This game keeps the strategy and excitement without getting bogged down into far too many details. There is a lot of depth here, but it's easy enough to play that it gets very fun , quickly. Play a couple of rounds of the Meuse scenario, read the players guide and then enjoy getting close or achieving victory.

Not good

Tank 4777853267

Too hard to read terrain features, which affect combat outcome. This will make the Order folks nostalgic for the Avalon Hill games, which this imitates but without Cool situational awareness of the Board game - instead it's like Looking through a soda straw at board.

$10 for less than an hour?!

Krelios

It's a good game but there are only two missions and you can play one of those for free in the Lite version. Every other mission is an in-app purchase so what did I pay the $10 for in the first place? This is not worth the money.

Reality Check

DBurkeG

A few games, like Glory of Generals, seem to have far more content for lower prices. This is well produced, but limited for $10. If you plan to play PvP, it could be a great choice. Read some 5 & 1 star reviews before you spend $10.

Hey what the?!?!??!

10$ for one map? Do I lack brain? I want my money back I must be stupid since I play on one map for 10 minutes and then game over.
