Unfinished and highly unpolished

For 10 bucks for a simplistic app, I at least expect something that is finished or at least some customer support. I emailed app support a while ago, no response. The app states it will back up your maps to iCloud so you can sync across devices. This is simply untrue and that function is just there so they can ease drop on your iCloud files. The app constantly says “create or join a game to use this feature” but create or join is unavailable. Overall this app feels like a pre-alpha

This does exactly what I want it to do. I would like to be able to add my own background image to paint. Aside from that, there is a minor crash on switching screens. One major issue, there really doesn’t seem to be support on fixes in about 4 years… which means this app may have a short lived cycle. Hope the devs are at least keeping up with iOS updates.

This app seems like it has potential but I couldn't create a game as there are no more servers to connect to and it seems to be missing many things that could make it decent. $10 for an app this simple isn't worth it. This could easily be a $0.99 app if it worked. I highly suggest you look elsewhere for your D&D map.

This app should be removed from the app store. Online features no longer function. In-app purchases are no longer available. Developer website no longer exists. Support is non-existent. For the features that still work this app should be priced at less than 50% what it is. Adding custom artwork is a hassle, as it provides only the option to jpg files from my camera roll rather than supporting uploads from cloud. So much wasted potential.

Can’t express how disappointing it is to shell out a lot of money for a app and then have the developer just abandon you. Websites are off, no support, in app purchases disappeared and network functionality gone. I love the concept of the app and it can be forced to work, but after what I payed I shouldn’t have to. This should be removed or Apple needs to post a warning that it is abandonware. Hope you never steal another persons money again and get away with it!!!!!????????????????????

It's a good app with a few things missing before it becomes great (resizing grids in particular). I've read/seen some of the changes they're making to version 2. It is a bit expensive compared to other apps in general. I think a $10-$15 dollar price reduction would do them wonders more than they realize, especially if they just gave bonus content to people who bought it at the higher price. It's still a good app and I recommend it!

Took some time for the upgrade to 2.0, but it looks so far like it's been worth the wait. Kudos to the devs for being so responsive to everyone's feature requests!
Major Bug for in-app purchases

This app is incredible! I initially reported a bug which prevented users from restoring and utilizing in-app purchases. Razeware fixed the bug in less than 1hr so I can honestly say the support seems much improved from battle map 1. The app's functionality is unparalleled and redefines what it means to be a DM. Over the years as an avid Apple product user I have made many purchases for which I was not proud of and often felt cheated. This is not one of them! This is the best app in its class and should be a real treat to those of you DM's out there getting really tired of pen and paper dungeon maps. Thanks again Razeware!

This is an amazing app. I use in in may store Pathfinder Society and several other RPG events. I use with Apple TV and it works great. This app is worth every penny of the price. If you GM any RPG you won't regret getting this.
