My favorite game ever to come out on iOS. Only issue is the new update has some issue where the add-ons get an error message whenever you exit the game and then restart it later. You then have to uninstall and reinstall the add-on to get it to work. Needs to be fixed. Newest update still has issues when reloading that involve the LUAfixes add on.

EXCELLENT game! Started crashing a lot the past few days for some reason. Other wise definitely 5 stars.

Overall this is a great port. But keyboard commands like CMD+R are not working when you have a Bluetooth keyboard connected despite the commands like that appearing in the menu. I really hope they add this as it would make playing with the touchscreen interface much better. Thank you for developing this port and keeping it up to date.

I first encountered this game on my laptop and absolutely loved it! Later, I got it on my iPad, and it was still good, but a little glitchy. Now I have a much newer iPad and I downloaded the game again and was pleasantly surprised by the updates they did to it. There are new graphics and music, and it runs way smoother than before. The only reason why I only gave four stars is that the controls are different now. I haven't played this new version for very long, but I have encountered a huge problem with the silver mage - you can't toggle off the screen, so the teleport abilities are limited to only what you see on the current screen. Otherwise, it's an excellent turn-based strategy game and something you can pick up or put away at any time.

I was extremely impressed with this game. It it pretty difficult but very fun. My only complaint is it doesn’t seem too work with the iPad Smart Cover keyboard which is a bummer because the interface seems to imply that their are keyboard commands. Oh well...

Characters in the game should be able to advance in skill levels, up to level 5, by building experience points; but I notice a bug which makes it impossible to get past level 3. Also recommend the developer create an iMac and an iPhone version, and allow saving to a cloud for resuming gameplay on any device.

I have loved this game for years- and I was thrilled to find that the iPad version works just as well as the computer one. And you can play many of the user-made campaigns on the iPad version, too, which is great, because some of the best Wesnoth games have been made by fans. Brilliant!
