Pieces can be difficult to identify, and that’s to be expected on a battle chess platform; and yet I think the graphics could be better delineated by a more experienced graphic artist. So I withhold one star.

At first thought it was awesome needs lots of work. Doesn’t allow pawn promotion, glitches often, and finally will not allow you to save.

Fun game with action figure pieces,however, very frequent lock ups and frozen game glitches makes it almost impossible to finish a game. Very disappointing considering this is actually a great game otherwise. Also, as mentioned by another reviewer, pawn queening for you, the player, doesn’t occur when appropriate. The game controls just lock up. Again, disappointing. Maybe the programmers could just fix those bugs and get those 5 stars!!

I don't really like anything that distracts me from the game, but I have to admit this is very well done. Great graphics and viewing options. Nice animations and sound. A lot of work went into this.

Not worth the free download

If you are looking for something similar to Battle Chess from the 90s for PC, this isn't it. The animation is lame, the '3D' is questionable, and the graphics are so lame that the developer felt the need to add a more recognizable 2D chess symbol next to each piece so you could figure out what it is. As this appears to be the first review, I hope to save you the trouble of downloading this chess app.

I hate this game mostly cause even on the easiest level I can't even come close to winning. The easiest level doesn't miss anything. Everything you take is from forcing. I even brought it to one of my patients who played chess most of his life and he is 72 now and the easiest level dominated him. There are much better chess games then this one. I just wish someone could make a battle chess game with decent fight scenes and graphics. Something practical. This one is impossible.

A fun quick chess game of many levels of play.

Many choices of races and one or multi player with choice of your opponent or random fight option. You also have many choices of difficulty levels for single player. Fast easy adjustment to camera as well as single or confirmation to moves allows no mistakes in play choices.

Touch Screen Needed

It needs touch screen controls, the virtual controller isn't very good. The game is difficult o play with the current set up.
