Game freeze and locks up

Played 2 games vs moderate AI and both times it froze half way in the game. Just deleted it because who wants to play chess like that.

I loooooove playing chess, and at least I can play and win. However I need to complain about the pieces sometimes randomly freezing and that I can’t promote my pawns, so it’s very irritating.Cannot believe the creators don’t listen to our complaints and don’t fix the bugs. Would not recommend unless you don’t promote your pawns.

Pawn promotion will not happen the game always locks up if the human player is going to win. Very cheap graphics and game and very annoying. The computer can do whatever but the human controller cannot even win a game cause it will freeze just so u don’t win and I know that’s what it’s doing because it will allow you to make any other dumb move but it will not allow you to win. Do t waste your time on this app it’s horrible.

So fun.

This is extremely choppy on my iPad Pro that runs many, many high end games at smooth framerates. Icon aspect ratios are skewed, making this look incredibly cheap, and the animations are kind of poor for this to bear the same name as the amazing PC version of Battle Chess. One quality of life update could fix all of this, and it hope it does because the foundation isn’t bad. I like that it doesn’t pick at my pockets like Warfare Chess does, it’s art style is solid, and I like the one touch controls.
