Reviews

Good app and watch, but really want to get the silent alarm.
Neo Yossi

All I could say this watch and all are much much better than the review described in amazon or YouTube. I am not saying that they were not correct or did negative review on purpose. But I am saying this watch has been greatly improved since it realized although not perfect. 1. Still did not have the slient alarm. I really do not want to put the big iPhone beside my pillow while sleeping. As a former Fitbit user, the oldest version of Fitbit has this feature. 2. Sometime because of my sleeping is very light. Then the tracker treat as several napping instead of one sleep period. Otherwise, nothing to compliants.

The app has come a long way
Rob Gorski

I wasn't very impressed with the original Basis. The Peak however, is in a league all its own. The Peak is hands down the best health and activity tracker currently available. The app now integrates with Health kit on iOS devices which then syncs up with apps like My Fitness Pal. I can't wait to see where they take this app and device next.

Great product!
Crazy monkey 56

You know you have a great product when you see them making regular updates. First, text/email/calendar notifications. Second, stopwatch feature. Third and I'm sure not for last, they just added alarm feature. They're great !!!

What were we waiting for???
Brewmel

The distance tracker feature under the geolocation section of the playground section of the app will not turn on. So the whole point of this update is pointless. Get it together guys! Don't you even test your updates before publishing them??

Basis Peak
Alwaysrelax

These last few months, the BP, has gotten so much better. It has all the information you need to see where you are and what you need to do, for improved personal fitness. The bicycling portion is very good.

Overall well rounded watch
Wolf Gang Mafia

I found mine new for $150 on Amazon so I'm happy about that. I've worn it for 2 weeks now and it does everything pretty well. Pros: It's comfortable to sleep with. It currently can send all notifications from your phone. Battery life is a good 4-5 days. Cons: The screen goes a lil nuts in the shower if you cycle through the windows. It won't pick up cycling for 5-10 mins after doing so. The heart rate may be slightly inaccurate, ex. Sitting and standing sometimes is around 100 or higher when I know that's not right. In the future id like to see the ability to change the watch face. Like different ways to see the actual time. And an output for skin temperature would be cool. It has a sensor for it so why not see that in real time too? Hope this helps any potential buyers

Mediocre data charting and presentation of data
friend of Hardangerfele

I don't go through life thinking about the previous few minutes of my day. And yet this app (basis peak and the Apple Health summations) seem mostly aimed at analyzing teeny blocks of time. Why must my night's sleep be spread between two days? I don't reflect on my night's sleep in before midnight and after midnight segments. Maybe a month isn't long enough for me to find the magic in its design. So far the uptake of data seems to be its design strength. Still I have not found a construct that shows me what all those data streams are. Only the first 4.

Bad update
Cmm4925

After installing the new software I can no longer connect to my Basis Peak from my iPhone. I've tried restarting, forgetting the device, etc. to no avail. Useless update!
