I do believe this app is great for all kids but I especially find it fabulous for my autistic son. It is extremely efficient for special needs children. This is exactly what I need for him. He loves playing with it too.

As always, another great app. Looking for ideas for another one? Use shapes to build a person...for beginners who are just learning how to build a face or stick person...learning body parts, front/back

I loved the program as a teaching tool. As an assessment tool, not so much. No data collection. The program allows the user to choose until the correct response is given. It's simply searching for the correct answer. An assessment program provides data. This program has the potential to be awesome; just add data collection and remove the check marks when the correct answer is given.

This is a great app - a quick, easy thorough way to assess basic concept knowledge in kids.

I like this. It could use some of the tweaks others have mentioned, but overall I like it. I don't mind the sheep pictures, with the exception of "going around the fence." That is confusing. A rope around a stick might work better.

I love love love how many different opportunities the kids are given to demonstrate the skill. I think there should be more feedback to show the kids when their answer is incorrect. A wrong buzzer sound draws their attention to a mistake more than just simply not allowing them to choose in correctly. My students respond more when they are shown they are incorrect and then given the chance to correct their answer. That instant feedback is an integral part of my therapy strategies. Thank you for such a comprehensive view of these concepts. I think that I will definitively be incorporating it into my therapy to help my students. I also loved the objects that can be manipulated. Being able to demonstrate instead of just choosing from a field is a great way to show complete understanding of a concept. Maybe offer different levels??? :)

This is a great tool for assessing your K-1 students. I sit with them and can easily find any holes in knowledge and they enjoy using the app.
