Built-in Weather Alerts  Baron Critical Weather provides fully automated weather alerts right on your phone, simple to use and more specific than weather sirens, with a lead time of up to 15 minutes before the storm hits. You can set up to four places to be monitored for severe weather, including your smart phone’s current location, so you always know what’s coming.

Featuring the Baron Tornado Index The Baron-exclusive alerts are accompanied by a simple 1-to-10 ranking on the likelihood of a tornado within the approaching storm cell. Called the Baron Tornado Index (BTI), this ranking is more local and accurate than regional alerts.

Play button for for radar animation way too small causing you to inadvertently touch a different area of the map.

Latest version has cheapened the radar with smoothed edges which makes it much less detailed and fine tuned like it used to be. Also, radar loop was shortened to a 45 minute loop instead of the 2 hour loop which was way better. So disappointed with the update...it was perfect before.

More rule based alert selection needed

Unable to pick what watches or warnings alerts on the radar. It is either all alerts or no alerts. I need to look at the map quickly and see what is heading our way. The radar itself is clear down to the street level and the lightning notice is helpful. I hope this app adds improvements to allow customizing the visuals on the map.

Temps consistently 8 to 10 F above local even when aggregate average for region is calculated. Humidity as well. Also cannot delete map pin that was preloaded with app for Newburgh MI. This is not an app to use when storm chasing either. Use Radar Pro or PYKL. UPDATE: 5-01-2020. Temperature recording grossly inaccurate. Still cannot dump location map pin for Newburgh MI. Forecasting is weak and rarely accurate. Barometer reporting does not indicate rise or fall. Deleting this app from my phone.

This is a awesome app but it needs a feature that allows users to control the weather map animation speed because after the most recent update the weather map animation speed is so fast that I can’t even see everything that is being animated, for example the lightning strikes are animated so fast they are just a blur and there’s no time to see where each strike occurred so I’m giving this app only 4 stars unless a way to control the weather map animation speed is added.
