Somewhat disappointed. Not accurate..close but should be spot on while using gps altitude for reference. Should show pressure trend vs feet... The concept of a barometer is to view trend data weather:) it's in inchs of mercury or hecto-pascals etc... Not feet/ meters.

It works! Very cool app now with sea level pressure. Could change the way we forecast the weather!

With one setting in the app, it automatically adjusts for my current elevation. This yields barometric pressure corrected to sea level. My iPhone 6+ reading is in close agreement with nearby NOAA reporting stations. That level of accuracy makes it a useful tool! Feature requests: pressure trend, history graph.

Is within 0.3mbars of my Kestrel 4500. Next week I will put it side-by-side with the national weather service station barometer and will update this review. Would recommend getting rid of three decimal places, you only need 0.1 (if that) to display. Besides no scientist will report that 3 decimal places. The display jumps around too much with 1/1000 of a mbar. I would put a millibar unit in there too. I know the other unit is the same but us cyclones chasers, JTWC, & NHC (official US agencies) use millibars. Other than those comestic changes, it's a great app. Lets see how the barometer stacks up against a known standard. Will find out in a few days

Gives very accurate measurements of pressure from my iPhone 6's new barometer! With this update the app also has new units (inches of mercury), sea level adjusted pressure, and it remembers my preferences between launches.

This is an excellent utility to compare other barometric pressure sensors but it would be nice if you could manually set the altitude (if needed). The GPS altitude is close but I have had some trouble with it locking onto my exact location which is very important when comparing barometers. Otherwise it's a great utility.

I would have given it 5 stars but... I paid for the app and now it wants more money to put it in the Notification Center. Which is why I bought it in the first place. Make it free and I'll give it 5 stars.
