What should you do when it does not scan well?
Barcode Coliseum recognizes barcode by taking advantage of the auto focus feature when scanning.
Auto focus works better once you get the camera close to the target barcode, and gradually separate the camera from it.
We recommend that you scan in an environment where there is no light behind the
barcode as much as possible because there are cases in which auto focus does not
work properly when there is a light behind it.
Note: Please note that this app might not work properly on 3G and 3GS.
A decent copy of the original Barcode Battler, however, it needs more variety in character designs.
It's much like the old barcode battling system, where two barcodes battle automatically and the user input is limited to which barcodes are scanned. Essentially you'd have to keep and collect your more powerful barcodes, instead of the system or app saving them, which is a feature I enjoyed. But with the Internet, if a game like this ever became popular, you'd have people posting their more powerful barcodes for the world to use, and that's definitely upsetting. I'm giving this app five stars because it's in the beta stage, I didn't expect much. And even though I didn't expect much, it reminded me very much of the old barcode battling game. It has great potential. Now let's hope that potential gets delivered.
It scans many codes well but can only save a limited number and I didn't see any feature where you can delete old saves. It would also be cool if you can name your characters.
I used my tripod and set it up perfectly on 10 different barcodes none of them scanned
