I always cycle through ticket apps... they are either clunky, or don’t have the shows/venues I’m interested in... this app has such a smooth ui and it sells through the ticket seller, so my venues and artists are always there... but... I go to checkout and there are 3 separate fees. Not taxes. I don’t think I’m being jaded, but we come looking for deals on tickets, and the price just jumps up 15$ from 3 separate fees. Otherwise a 5 star experience. *update* newest update is glitchy
loss of dates in new version

I’ve always supported, used, enjoyed, and shared this app with others. However the newest update removed the date from the band screen when scrolling through their multiple dates just swiping left and right. Previously date & venue would be listed right under band banner, and now you must click each, separate, individual tab to see the upcoming date. Huge flaw from previous version.. star rating could be a 5 if it’s repaired

iPhone X freezing all the time on results

App freezes on iPhone X after clicking any of the tiles on the search tab. When clicking all shows and trying to filter by date announced it scrolls down a couple inches and freezes. I have to kill the app every time. I have tried reinstalling as well.

The biggest piece of hot garbage I’ve ever had to use. A band you like uses bandsintown and puts a link up for tickets? Gotta go through the app, which takes longer than just going to a ticket website. Install the app on a new device? Gotta re-scan everything, the app can’t remember what artists from your Spotify/Apple Music/other music service you have deselected or added outside of your music services. Don’t want bandsintown to scan your local music app and want it to only use the sources you want? Too bad, it’s scanning everything! Don’t want a metric f**k-ton of notifications and emails? Hey, congrats, they’ve got that metric f**k-ton of notifications automatically turned on without asking you when first setting the app up! I’d rather swim through flaming raw sewage than use this app. The only reason I keep it installed is because bands somehow keep using this bucket of rotting disease-filled excrement, and they don’t make it easy to bypass it.
