BackRow

A turn-based game where friends or complete strangers work together to write a story, context not included.
Category Price Seller Device
Games Free Liam Cain iPhone, iPad, iPod

Join a room with friends or people nearby and take turns adding a few sentences to the story. The catch? You can only see the second half of what the last person wrote. Yep, you get no other context. You're on your own. When you’re done, just leave the room. After EVERYONE has left, you can read the story that you wrote together.

I’ll start: “ONCE UPON A TIME…”

Features:
• Free!
• Awesome banner advertisements! (okay, they’re kinda lame. Sorry about that.)
• Turn-based gameplay
• Play with people nearby
• Play with your Facebook friends

Such a fun app to use while procrastinating! Great for any college student. Beautiful interface too.

GREAT premise, but one thing missing.

This app is great, and I love the layout and design. Writing is easy, setup is easy, Facebook integration is easy. Simply put, this app is easy to use and easy to love. However, as of right now, you can only join "rooms" (or stories) that are near you and people can only join yours if you're near them. When this app gets a little bigger, that'll be practical, but until then there's no one here to use it with me. I think if you took off the restriction of location, or maybe even went by state (rather than immediate vicinity), it would make it usable. Otherwise, no one's here to add to my stories! Great job though! Looking forward to seeing some more people on here.

Awesome!

This app is wickehd fahckin sick. No but seriously, the concept is perfect for kids bored in class who are looking to express their creativity. Could even be a teaching tool for a creative writing class. Well done Liam!

Guess it's too new

So far I can't do anything with this app. The idea is great, reminds me of the old yahoo collaborative story groups...but there are no rooms and I'm not sure I want to be the first to start one. I know someone will have to begin, but not me. Once this either gets going, or dies...I'll change my rating.
