This app is wonderful! But it doesn’t work without internet. That’s the issue but everything is wonderful!

Used to be the best app, loved the functionality and it did everything I wanted it to do. They’ve ruined it one awful update at a time. Now you can’t even get passed the please give us money so my wife won’t leave me upgrade to pro page. Sad to delete it but not going to keep an app that can’t perform it’s ONE basic function.

Stopped letting me click the x on the pro page when I first open the app so it’s literally useless now
The transparent background not working is Apple not Background Eraser!

I have used Background Eraser frequently for years and found it to be a wonderful app. But then last week, after updating my Apple IOS and updating the app itself, it suddenly stopped saving files with a transparent background. Upon a little experimentation, though, this is what I found: 1.) If you e-mail the file to yourself from Background Eraser and then open the photo in your email and copy it, you can paste it into any app that accepts transparent backgrounds and it’s fine. 2.) If you send it straight to Dropbox from Background Eraser and copy, you can also paste it into an app and the background is transparent. 3.) If you save it to your camera roll and then send to Dropbox and copy into another app, it’s fine. 4.) If you save it to your camera roll and Email and copy to another app, the transparent background is stripped. 5.) The same thing is happening with other apps that save transparent backgrounds, like Procreate. 6.) If you add an image to another app that has been sitting in your camera roll for ages with a transparent background and always worked previously, sometimes it will come into the app with a transparent background, sometimes not. So all of this convinces me, the issue here is Apple not Background Eraser and I feel for them that they’re getting dinged with all these one-star reviews! For me, it has been a great go-to app for years, definitely a five-star app!

Uhhh, so a lot of people have been saying this in reviews, but the app is only stuck on the pro page. I don’t know if I have to uninstall it or something, but I really did love this app and I just want it back. It’s actually so amazing and helpful. Just please can you guys fix the page? I would’ve given five stars if it weren’t for this glitch. I hope you get around to it. Thank you!
