Why is the first review for this app from the developers.....and from 3 years ago??? Nothing random exists with this app. You can have 7 pieces taken off the board and still lose because of the computers “random” highly improbable rolls. Why the developers agreed to such asinine algorithms is beyond me.

There is no way anyone could be that lucky. Almost every time opponent returns from the bar. Opening rolls too frequently go to the computer 5 to 1. In my opinion the authors are being less than honest.

It's a real shame that a fun game with a nice interface can cheat so badly. Played 10 games where I tracked moves. If you don't double, you might have a chance. Start by doubling and you are in for it. Everytime I play aggressively, opponent rolls the exact numbers. In one game, I rolled one double where I could move and rolled seven doubles when I could not. Opponent rolled 12 sets of doubles in one game! Thought I made a good purchase. Live and learn. A new record today. Game the 12 doubles in one game impressive.

It seems to me that the random generator is not so random! It gives the exact numbers to keep the game interesting.

I love backgammon, I’m a great player in person and online. This computer frequently rolls doubles and opportunities to bounce my pieces. Very frequently. I don’t roll many doubles. Make the rolls more “random.” I put it in quotations because computers aren’t random, they’re instructed, but do better.

I’m not sure what this game is trying to teach me. The computer rolls the perfect roll every time it needs. There is no randomness in its play. It also makes a number of bad moves even at the highest level. There has to be a more realistic version of this game. Also, they charge you for both the iPhone and the iPad version, which is bs.
This is not a random single player game

Had a friend play a few games - he’s an expert. Said he would never play this one again. You can predict what the computer will do, of course it predicts your strategy too. Would not recommend this app to any new player or someone relearning. Not challenging just frustrating
