The game is missing the doubling cube! That makes this version completely useless for anyone who plays at a moderately high level or better. Also: the avatar feature, while cute, is extraneous and poorly implemented. Most likely you won't be able to make your avatar look like you, especially if you have features that the authors decided were too rare to bother with, like brown hair.
Even in "master" level I can beat it every time. Not for even a moderate Backgammon player. No doubling either.
This app doesn't work at all. The pieces don't move, you cant roll after the first roll, Bluetooth does not work. Basically no part of this game works. Deleted it after 5 min. Don't bother with it.
Programmed terribly. Even the "master" level has no idea about any type of strategy in backgammon. Don't waste your time.
Couldn't get my pieces to move after rolling. I could highlight them, but no movement. Instructions only include rules, but no iPad instructions. Uninstalled.
Even at highest level the movement choice at questionable at least. Not fun at all
Easy at the hard level. I can't remember when I lost a game. I have lost but rarely. Kelsey
Two things would make this game better and more enjoyable: 1. Animate the computer's moves so you can clearly see what they are doing...in othello too. 2. Flash a congratulatory screen when you win...the "+1" "-1" is not very fulfilling, and, frankly, a bit confusing.
