At 16 weeks pregnant I didn't hear anything even though I felt her squirm when I put my phone to my belly. It didn't even pick up my heartbeat against my skin.

Absolutely does not work. I could hear my voice when I spoke into the microphone. That was it!! Prompts you to upgrade every 30 seconds. Ridiculous!!

This app is a joke. I didn't even have it on my stomach I actually put it on solid wood (just to make sure I was not getting false readings). The heart rate kept jumping from different rates but it never hit 0! 98-163 I wasn't even touching it.

This app couldn't even find my heartbeat, much less my baby's at 15 weeks. Actually, you can hold the phone up in the air and it still says the calculated heartbeat is 150. It would be awesome if it worked, but it doesn't. It's a good things it's free. If you use it and can't find your baby's heartbeat, don't let it worry you. It's just the app.
A better idea

So, I have iPhone with iPhone headphones and couldn't use the app. I just placed my mic on belly and recorded it to my phone. Now I can play it on my laptop speakers. I can record and play as much as I want. The app doesn't do anything that can't already be done, so I don't really see why they all cost money.

I tried this app a few weeks ago and couldn't hear anything, but today at 21w i clearly heard my baby's heartbeat, i didn't use headphones because it's impossible with iPhone 6, it takes time to find the right spot though :)

Fake. I put it on my arm and it jumped back and fourth from 80 to 160.

I tried it on my heartbeat, and it jumped from 90 to 136 to 103 to 163... Inconsistent.
