This would be great if it worked all the time, but it constantly drops the connection
My husband and I each tried to set up this device 3-5 times but it would not connect to the device we purchased. I could not find info online on how to troubleshoot so we returned the device and deleted the app. Totally not worth the frustration.
Aside from the constant timing out, now when my app connects to the camera there is only a black screen. When I use the Android unit that came with it, I can see the baby and crib perfectly so it doesn’t seem to be a camera hardware/connection issue. Avoid this app, avoid this product line...if you’re just now downloading the app it, it’s not too late to return your purchase.
Camera view constantly times out or drops connection. Huge delay on the tablet. Really disappointing.
This monitor/camera system worked wonderfully for the first 9-12 months! We loved it! Ever since they stopped updating the app though it’s been headache after headache to try and monitor our 2 boys every night. The software on the tablet that came with the cameras NO LONGER WORKS! We have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it - nothing. We have tried using the app through our phones, but the feed cuts out frequently. So so disappointing!!
We’ve had the monitor for 10 months now, and it rarely works as it should. Tonight the monitor is working, but the app on our phones is not. We frequently have to call technical support (only available during business hours) and usually have to leave a message to receive a call or email back the following day or two. Very disappointing overall.
At first I was skeptical because it is not traditional technology where the camera is portable and the camera viewer is also portable. The camera is connected to the WiFi and the wall...as in plugged in. However, it has been wonderful this whole time. The picture is clear: lights on or off, day or night! The sound is so sensitive it picks up other noises made around the room or outside of it. We have been using it non stop-every night and yes it times out but we are constantly referring to the monitor (on the iPad it’s been downloaded) that we notice and just reopen the app. No big deal! Plus our new blend room is not too far from ours where we do hear him hollering “IF” the camera is not available -or rather the app and that is SELDOM. We don’t have a single complaint about this camera or the app associated with it. More people should know about it! It’s not advertised-marketed enough! Thank you.
The camera and tablet worked the first two days of use but would time out frequently. Now, less than a week after installation, neither the tablet that came with the camera nor the app on my iPhone or iPad will connect with the camera feed at all. The tablet and camera together cost $150 so to have it not work after going to the trouble of installing it is deeply disappointing and frustrating. The camera itself is fine - it has some kind of night vision that allows you to see your baby when it’s dark - but I have no way to see the feed from the camera, so useless. Customer service will not get back to me. Please fix these issues ASAP!
