Baby Count is an engaging app to teach children about numbers, shapes, and colors. These concepts are conveyed visually and verbally as children interact with the shapes. Each game shows different colors, numbers, and shapes. As each shape is touched, the number is spoken and shown on the shape.
Features:
• Multiple spoken languages - expose kids to sounds from other languages
• Congratulatory sounds encourage your child
• Customize the speed of the shapes from stationary to fast
• iPad, iPhone, and retina support
• No ads or other distractors – perfect for infants and toddlers!
"It feels like my child is really learning something, not just pretending to learn something." by Tasha.T.
Baby Count is designed with simplicity in mind to minimize unnecessary stimulation while encouraging interaction. The shapes can be still or move around the screen. The animations can optionally be turned off to further reduce stimulation if desired. The shapes can be swiped or optionally changed to touch only, depending on the skill and age of the child. You can select a male, female, or random gender voice. Additionally, you can select the spoken voice to be English or Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).
Toddlers need everything in small bite, not just food. This breaks down colors and numbers and shapes into a positively reinforced learning environment.
Very well done. It feels like my child is really learning something, not just pretending to learn something.
We used this app with our first child and although not as slick as some other apps, it is very effective. Our second child now plays this app. It is easy for little ones to play with, and they also learn phrases for being praised.
