It's like playings games while learning a language the website is even better

I'm a beginner with Portuguese. Any place to start is better than none. Babbel is just one tool I'm using. I'm enjoying it so far. I only wish it gave me better instruction on how I'm doing with pronunciation.

So far so good. Outside of a few glitches, a well-conceived and engineered system. Much more like a course rather than a "phrase book", Babbel is what Rosetta Stone could have been if the RS developers had cared upgrade and improve their product. Your subscription gives you access to both mobile and browser environments and syncs your course progress across your devices. Nice!

This app is extremely helpful. The only thing I hoped for was more lessons. They have 5 beginner Portuguese lessons but I wish they had intermediate and advance lessons that covered more tenses in depth. Also I would recommend using what they have on their website. All of that is helpful also.
