To browse the library, tap on one of the several available types of collections. Doing so will display all the sub-collections within that collection. Movies in sub-collections can be displayed according to their rating or by the date they were added to the collection.
Tap on any movie to display the details about that movie. Details include the full description of the movie, its rating if it has one, the number of downloads, and its running time if available. Since most movies are uploaded by users, some movies may not have complete details.
Also listed are the actual movie files. Tap on one to play it. If the video format is visible below the movie title, tap on it to switch to an alternate video format if one is available. Usually the smaller the file, the inferior the quality. Larger files will usually look better, but may require a longer time to load. Since network connections to the internet may vary, some videos may be available in a variety of formats.
A list of related keywords may also be shown. Tapping on one of these is a shortcut to doing a search for that keyword.
If you find a particularly interesting movie, you can bookmark it for later viewing by using the bookmark control in the top-right corner of the Details screen. Switch to the Bookmarks tab to view your bookmarks. Swipe from left to right across any bookmark to delete it.

This app is a convenient doorway to thousands of great videos available at the Internet Archive. I'm talking about documentaries, old movie trailers, vintage cartoons, full-length movies, experimental CGI films, hilarious Brick films (animated Legos) ... the list goes on and on. I'm sure I will be draining my battery day after day, because this app makes it so easy to watch and bookmark my favorites. Outstanding job, Bubble Pop Software! Now I'm just hoping you'll create an app for the Old Time Radio section of the Internet Archive.

I cannot get a single movie to play over 3G or WiFi. I sooo want this to work but nothing will play!

Last night I watched obscure 1960’s sitcoms (complete with campy commercials admonishing me to buy the right toothpaste for my family) while in bed. Thank you for bringing the wonder and amazement of internetarchive.org to the iphone/iPod Touch! ..Yes, larger movie files are going to take a while to buffer, but that’s not the Apps fault.

This app is very well done, and presents many titles which will appeal to a variety of tastes. I enjoyed watching Mary Pickford in "Cinderella" just now. The film is 95 years old, but I loved it as if it was new. The only drawback of that particular film is that the screen aspect ratio is dissimilar from my iPod Touch, so I had to either watch with black bars on the side, or zoomed in with the top and bottom of the image cropped off. That is not the developers fault, they have no control over the screen aspect ratio of the media. I'm very impressed with this app, and I give it 5 stars for price, design, features, and for doing just what the description claims.

Wow, I just heard of this app and downloaded it. I am very surprised at the low review scores! I've had no trouble watching videos, tv shows, old commercials and even a vlog (drivetime) that I almost forgot about. This app is great! If you're looking to watch some open source and out of copyright movies, this is the app for you. (I even found Night of The Living Dead in full 1080p H.264 format, amazing!) Great job dev(s), thank you!

This app is a wonderful example of one of the places where the iPhone platform fails. The only problem I've had was that the videos present were in a codec that iPhone doesn't support. That's not the fault of the app developers. Add an e-mail sharing feature and this is an awesome app!
