This is quite simple the worst "attempt" at a software program...EVER ! Absolutely user-unfriendly. Whoever approved this garbage at Pioneer, should be fired immediately. Too many problems with this travesty to list here. Actually I want to kick someone at Pioneer right in their face. Grrrrr

Downloaded and installed the new map for 2016. When I try to transfer it to my 5200 nex it won't work. Keeps disconnecting. This is useless!!!

I can't associate my phone to get the extra features for the head unit. The head unit is aweosme but the app stinks.

This is one of the most pathetic apps I've ever used. I can't connect to my iPhone 7 no matter how many restarts of the phone/headunit I do, all i get is a black screen on the app itself, and to top it off the blasted app hasn't been updated since last January? What kind of pathetic joke is this? Come on Pioneer, almost half the functionality of this headunit is utilized THROUGH this app. Yet you don't even bother to touch it. Please, for the love of Christ update this. It has so much potential to it and I'd probably happily give it 4 or maybe even 5 stars IF IT WORKED.

This app is totally broken. After buying my 700$ pioneer unit for my car, I find out that you have to download this app for the unit to retrieve information such as; weather, traffic and, fuel prices. Then...... you have to buy a subscription to the services. It WAS linking to my unit about every other time I got in my car. Now, my unit doesn't even recognize it at all. So, I delete the app and reinstall it. I sign in and click "restore purchases". Which does nothing. NOTHING. To summarize, my unit won't recognize the app on my phone and I payed for services I'm not getting. I like pioneer but after this giant headache/rip off, I think my next in-dash nav unit is going to be Kenwood.

I have an iPhone 7plus and I cannot use the useful information page on the nav page of my brand new stereo. Very very frustrating. Last update was performed more than a year ago! Come on!

The app opens, and that's about it. I recently installed the 5200 in my vehicle and it was advised to download this app to use the navigation system. All the app does is tell me that it is searching for a signal, then goes into sleep mode. There is no option to make any purchases that others have spoken of; the app tells me it needs to be updated and to go to iTunes to download the latest version. There is no way to enter an address; as others have said the fields to fill in are grayed out. It starts by telling me to select a country but gives no way of doing so. My hope is that once I get Apple CarPlay up and running, that I can delete this app and use the mapping programs I have on my phone for traffic info. Luckily there isn't much use for navigation for me anyway.
