This means you don’t have to drive to a smog check station or Clean Air Station and wait in line!

CURRENTLY FOR OREGON VEHICLES ONLY:
AutoSmog allows you to share a snapshot of the most current emissions data from your vehicle emissions system with Oregon DEQ. You can check your results immediately at DEQ’s website: DEQToo.org, and even renew your car registration, all over the internet!

This is currently only available for 2005 and newer vehicles registered within the Portland and Medford vehicle testing boundaries of the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality.

Didn't have to go into an emissions station, just downloaded it and linked with my Automatic account. Emissions check finished in a few minutes.

Excellent App and way to pass emissions quickly if you live in Oregon. Wave of the future stuff here. One caution, Oregon requires that your vehicle electronically submit its VIN number. The online help will point out this is likely true for vehicles 2005 and newer. The error message I received for my 2000 wrangler was a little cryptic but quickly explained by the email help. I gladly look forward to using this on the rest of my vehicles this year as a I renew registrations.

In just a few minutes, not leaving my car or my garage, I was able pass my emissions test and thanks to the link supplied by the app, connect to DEQ and renew my registration. Great application.

Doesn’t work

I was parked for 30 minutes and the emissions test was stuck at “Waiting for ignition. We’ll proceed once we detect the vehicle is parked and the engine is running. This may take up to 60 sec.” I was parked and the engine was running for 30 minutes. This doesn’t work.
