Autism Village is a free service and is a 501c3 charitable organization.
Find places where people with autism can feel safe, comfortable, and have FUN in a place that is staffed by understanding and helpful people.
Just have a look at the Autism Village app and you’ll quickly find nearby places rated and reviewed by others in the autism community. Help others by submitting a review of your own to share.
This is a great app for everyone in the autism community. Share places, good or bad, so others don’t have to figure it out by trial and error. Support the businesses that support autism to further acceptance and understanding.
Tried to sign up with my email and never received the confirmation email so I can't log in. Tried logging in with Facebook and it says "disabled by administrator". It's a shame because I wanted to try this app.
Unless you are in an area with a lot of app users, there's not a lot of listings or info on area things. I'm disappointed because I donated to this app before it was even released. I wanted it to work but it's just does not deliver. Not worth it.
Never got the email to validate my account and I refuse to sign in with social media. I was really looking forward to using this app.
Doesn't have a ton of places... I live in Rochester, NY and there is tons of place here for special needs... There isn't even a way to add places.... It does have 2 places near me but one is in buffalo and the other is here... Make a way for people to help add...
... since I've helped out and also volunteered time with them.
Great app! I'm surprised by the complaints that "there are few places in it. There are plenty where we live because we've slowly been adding reviews FOR OTHERS and ourselves. This is a community app! Duh.
Where is all Chicago in Illinois only one .. Looking for more Please Thanks I hope to see more of this , This here is great but need more help to find in Chicago ... Great idea!!
With more and more people becoming aware of some of the different needs of the ASD community, this will be a great way to showcase businesses that “get it”.
