Autism iHelp - Comprehension targets fundamental receptive language skills in a variety of formats. While utilizing real-life photographs, this app requires the learner to listen and follow directions of varying complexity. Comprehension of one- and two-step directions is essential for academic success on a fundamental level, and builds on short-term and auditory memory skills. Options include written directions and verbally presented directions.
Additionally, you are able to track your child's gains through progress reports that average the last 3 performances of each learning enhancement activity.
“with Autism iHelp…..it gets better.”
The apps from Autism iHelp are great but the audio stopped working after a few days. It also messed up the audio in the other apps that we’ve been using for months now. The apps are all useless without the audio.
I haven’t actually tried the app yet but what it shows on the cover kinda makes me offended. It shows education on colors and object sorting and stuff like that. I am autistic myself and to me it looks like it’s showing that autistic people need help to just find simple words and colors which is ok to some people but kinda makes me upset. I’m sorry if I took this app the wrong way and forgive me if I hurt your feelings but I just wanted to say that I believe autism does not deprive you from learning the same things that other people learn. It just looks like to me that you think this should be the education that autistic people should get and that makes me a little upset. Again I’m sorry and I haven’t tried the app yet so I’ll rate it 4 stars for now. I will play it and if I change my mind about the game I’ll let you know. I do appreciate how you are trying to help autistic people though so thank you so much.
Tried it and thought it would be good , once I purchased full version it doesn't work at all just closes on its own. Fix or give money back
Hello- I would love to see an app or 2 separate apps with body parts and then illnesses that may be associated so a student could comprehend - “sore throat”, “headache”, cut in leg etc ....
Where is your app support contact info? I do not use Facebook, which is a poor way to discourage your customers from reaching you. I’m a paid user who planned to purchase several iHelp apps for my son, but cannot do so until my sound issue is resolved. We get no sound at all on any of the iHelp apps. I’ve checked settings, volume, etc. All appears fine and I get sound on any other app. Please respond to this. Thank you
I really like the Autism iHelp apps. I use them all the time with my students with ASD and PDD. Unfortunately, when I try to download the in-app purchase to unlock all the sets, I receive a message stating that iTunes cannot be reached. I have not had this difficulty with other iHelp apps.
We really like using the Autism iHelp Apps with our kiddos in school, but unfortunately, we are not able to complete the in-app purchase to unlock all of the sets. We get a loading screen, then a notice saying "Timed out". Either that or the iPad does nothing.
