How can a podcast app in 2016 not have 15x 2x speed. Beyond that it seems Amazon but this feature is a nonstarter.

Pluses - pretty pictures Minus - no import - no speeds - tedious setup - no controls for download, number, or really anything you'd expect.

I am a podcast fan. Listen to podcasts during by 30 minute drive to and back from work every day. Have tried various apps, but always come back to the default Apple Podcast player. Until perhaps now. This app does help in suggesting new podcasts and episodes based on your subscriptions. An editorial page highlights various "podcast lists" and themes that are topical - Example currently podcast episodes around 'Offshore Tax Havens' is one of the themes - as the Panama Papers leak is hotly discussed. I can see various "human" editors picking their top picks of the week, etc. Liking it so far!

For someone just getting into podcasts, Aurora is a great little app with a nice interface. I used it in conjunction with turn-by-turn directions, and the app actually paused whenever Siri gave a direction, which was really nice--much better than just dropping the volume and getting drowned out. That works for music--not for podcasts. :P Great app!
