After going through all the trials and tribulations of having to find a replacement for the boring and poorly-designed Philips Hue stock app, I found Aurora. It is simply the BEST Hue app out there, and I say this after having tried dozens. I love its simple, elegant, intuitive design, ease of use, and focus on core functions. It just works. The only two things I would add are a widget for Notification Center (to switch lights on and off quickly, without having to launch the app), and the possibility to edit and/or add new scenes. Other than that, this app is pretty much flawless.

Doesn’t Work or Pair

Every other hue app works and even new ones find my bridge. This one just keep searching or not doing anything. Looks like it would be fun to use. Guess I won’t find out.

I couldn’t get past first screen to connect to hub. And yes, hub firmware is up to date. I connected other apps after this one, so they get my business.
