It is a really useful app. So many times I've wanted to make a note while I'm listening to a podcast. With this app now I can...the bookmark feature is amazing. The forward and backward controls make it super easy to review these bookmarks later. I also like the circular control for fast forwarding and rewinding.

I gave the previous version of this app 1 star. The author has apparently read my comments and greatly improved the app. He has also included a contact email. Kudos for doing that. The UI is new, and while not especially intuitive, you can save and browse your bookmarks, and you will get the hang of it. The first time you load version 1.6, you get some instructions on using the new interface. It would nice to be able to select those instructions again if you need them. I don't want them to come up each time I open the app (that would be annoying), but I would like to refer them again should I "forget" or get confused.. Once you browse to the bookmark you want, you must touch it to select it. This can be a bit awkward, but I can certainly live with it. The new instructions don't mention that you must touch the bookmark after browsing to it.. It is an important step, or the app won't work as advertised. You can add a note to your bookmark if you want. I never do, and I like the fact that I don't have to add a not in order to save the bookmark. I have tried a number of podcast bookmark apps, and they are generally not very good. This one is not perfect, but it is definitely worth 99 cents and is better than the other ones I have tried.

Has intuitive interface and very useful for podcasts and all the kinds of educational audio because of bookmarks feature. Its fast and easy to list bookmarks and rewind on them. And unlike some few other podcast players with bookmarks support this one can work with ANY audio file from your library, not only podcasts.

Needs a sleep timer and a way to redo the tutorial

My one huge issue with this app is there is no sleep timer. That is a MUST have for me. A small pick at the app is that I am not sure what "tracking mode" is yet, although I would imagine it is explained on his website, there is no reason that it couldn't have been explained in the tutorial and also for you to be able to easily access later should you need a refresher. Otherwise, the app is a strong 4 stars plus with perhaps some bookmarking ease-of-use tweaking to get it closer to 5 stars.

Very good concept, UI is pleasure to use and smooth. Improvements for next rev: sync bookmarks to cloud; provide list of existing bookmarks so user can go back to an audio clip and continue from there.
