The application analyzes the audio signal from the input and displays the following characteristics:
• signal level in dB (calibrated for the built-in microphone) displays an analog device and a digital scale. Also, there is a peak indicator values;
• time-registrator register in time for the minimum, maximum and average level of the signal;
• 30-band spectrum analyzer with a step 1/3 octave;
• Oscilloscope with adjustable Y-scale;
The application may be used as:
• Noise Level Meter;
• determine the characteristics and nature of the noise / sound;
• to set up acoustic systems and home theaters;
• Search the resonance frequencies;
• a simple portable oscilloscope above the audio band;
• portable spectrum analyzer in the audio band;

I like this app at all. It is beautiful and simple. Please add the data export function for recording.
I use this app for events in big ballrooms and I'll often reference to this when ringing out rooms. Helps out during live situations too!
I found this mostly useless. There are free decibel meter apps that are easier to use and easier to read. The spectral analyzer is low resolution and has no gradations. A pointless exercise. Spend the extra 2 bucks and get bs-spectrum.
