I find it sad that Audi employees -- who work in the division that made this app -- would review it here (with "keep up the good work Audi!") thinking no one would notice. Case in point, Audi's own social media employee, Mr. Munot, above. While the app itself is nice enough (though not at all special), the brand just showed a real lack of class in employing these desperate rookie tactics.

The first thing I see is the underutilization of the retina display on the iPhone..., Ich liebe meinen Audi, but the app looks cheap not well thought out or tested when I see these pixelated menu graphics! Ugh...how ugly. Audi is not alone in this...really, how hard is it to have the higher resolution files made and loaded for the iPhone? I see pixelated graphics on so many of the other apps for the iPhone, don't companies realize this is their one chance to look refined on the best display around, but every time a user opens up their app, which represents them to the mobile world, they see this amateur looking app interface!!!

This is another example of why I love working for Audi. I've always liked most of the apps that Audi puts out. They understand consumer trends and deliver soon. Keep it up!

It seems funny that an automaker that is becoming the standard of automotive design would release such an ugly an contrived looking app. The LED light load screen is tacky and the rest of the menu look like it was made by 15 year olds in 1989. Horrible.
I usually love audi, BUT...
I just tried to register my VIN on the app today and have the same issue every other legitimate review here has had: 'registration failed...' Tried multiple times. Then, I switched off wifi and tried with just a 3G connection, and it worked. Maybe that will help folks. BUT, COME ON AUDI, GET WITH THE PROGRAM AND DO SOME QUALITY ASSURANCE AND USER TESTING OF YOUR APPS BEFORE YOU RELEASE, AND READ YOUR FEEDBACK TO PROVIDE TIMELY UPDATES. If we're putting our safety on the line with this app, shouldn't we have total confidence that it'll actually work if we ever needed it? Someone (or their digital agency) should be fired for not caring enough to fix this and for the damage to Audi's reputation for real innovation.
