There are a few gazillion apps that give you free classic books, play books from the cloud, or play downloads from your public library. Thank God this isn’t one of them! If you don’t want to pay for Audible and don’t want classics then there are very very few choices when it comes to apps that simply play your own content. Ie, your audiobooks you rip yourself from CD or MP3 books you collect from wherever. This is one of of about four reliable apps out there that are just really good players. I’ve bought and tried almost all of them over the last 10 years and after spending weeks with each, this is the one I go to on a daily basis. Some others have a neat feature here and there but this one has all the essentials and works very well. It also doubles as a music player but I never use that part. You basically have the choice of AudBooks, iBooks, Bookmobile, or Undulib. All are excellent efforts but I settled on this app for feature set, ease of use, and cosmetics. The others are good but fall short in one or more of the above. Try all four. I think you’ll end up back here!
The app starts, starts loading books, and crashes within 2 seconds. iPhone 4S running lastest iOS. Wanted for sleep timer. Disappointed!
Perfect app for audio books. I had no problems with it crashing like last reviewer.
Love it. I have used Bookmark for a while, but this app is much better when audiobook includes multiple files. You simply save bookmark and renew listening from the bookmark page. The thing I don't like is that it does not stop when one gets a call. If it is solved, then it would be 5 star app
